Well, not the books for the kiddos – I’m pretty sure those are still around. Here’s some images from another of my inherited-from-mom stack of books. The title of it is Bluebonnet Bend by Augusta Huiell Seaman, published in 1924. BTW, don’t click on these for a larger image. I scanned them at a very high level for best resolution here.
Now those are some seriously natty (not) outfits.
I cannot imagine wearing skirts and dressy shoes to sit on a rock by the river.
That’s quite a drop off that chasm. I think I’ll pass. These are fun, I’ll have to see what else is on that old shelf.
